LOCATION
Refugi Rosta is located in the historical center of Salardú, between Major Square and Esterri-Vielha road ,in front of Mont Romies forest and Garonne river.
Salardu is the capital of Naut Aran, the Aran’s valley county where is located the winter sports centre and during the summer it becomes the departure point of hiking’s and trails in the heart of Pyrenees. Salardu is a gateway of the Aiguestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, and also of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park ,during the winter you can enjoy one of the biggest ski resorts of Pyrenees, Baqueira Beret.
Aran Valley is the only one of Catalan Pyrenees on the Atlantic edge, for that reason it has its own language and culture, that’s why is one of the most beautiful and special valleys of Pyrenees.
